Cinema film Das Lehrerzimmer free of charge at the Kinodrom

The LUX Audience Award has been organised by the European Parliament since 2020. Bocholt is taking part for the first time in 2024. Citizens are invited to vote on the five nominated films. Half of the votes will be included in the final result for the film award. Participants can win a ticket to the award ceremony in Brussels.

On 1 March, the fifth film in the film series, here: "The Staff Room" will be screened. The film by German filmmaker İlker Çatak is about Carla, a young, idealistic teacher who decides to solve a series of unexplained thefts at her school. With the help of a hidden camera, she exposes the thief, but her revelation surprises everyone and confronts Carla with an unsolvable dilemma.

Following the performance, EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt will be available to answer questions about the evaluation. Visitors are asked to bring their mobile phones to the event.
