Waiting for the bus
Theatre in the evening
Contemporary play by Oliver Bukowski, performed by the Westfälisches Landestheater Castrop-Rauxel.
The play follows the tradition of successful German concepts that have proven themselves in cult series such as "Der Tatortreiniger" or "Dittsche".
Ralle and Hannes, full-time philosophers of life, spend their days in a terminus for intercity buses in the middle of nowhere. They talk and discuss everything that makes up life, fuelled by a never-ending source of canned beer. Their conversations, fed by calendar sayings and Wikipedia, always contain a good dose of life wisdom, coupled with humour and self-irony.
