Training for voluntary carers, authorised representatives and interested parties

As part of the training programme "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" (Well trained - Well represented"), the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für das Betreuungswesen is offering a training course for voluntary legal guardians, authorised representatives and interested parties on 18 March at 6:30 pm.
Mrs Gabriele Theling, employee of the AWO care association and legal carer, will give a talk on clinical pictures. On this evening, psychiatric illnesses, dementia and the so-called "onset dementia" will be discussed.
The causes, symptoms and treatment options will be discussed, as well as the impact on the work situation and the financial consequences of these illnesses. Communication and dealing with affected people will also be discussed. In addition, an open dialogue will be facilitated and questions can be asked.
The event is a cooperation event of the working group for the care system (care authority of the city of Bocholt, care associations of the SkF Bocholt and the AWO Bocholt) and is organised by the care association of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt.
