Interested parties can register via the link https://ogy.de/Reunion-2022. The access data will be sent by e-mail.

My Europe / My Europe

My Europe' is an interactive digital event series that lets its guests discover Europe.
How does it work? "It's simple: we talk to young people from different countries about Europe and their personal issues of the heart," says Sonja Wießmeier, Europe Direct representative from Bocholt.

About the speaker

On October 26, Indina Nice will take the audience on a virtual journey. She is 28 years old and lives on the French island of La Réunion, currently in Saint-Leu on the west coast.

After graduating from high school, she spent a year as an aupair looking after four children in Düsseldorf. She was a junior ambassador for the German-French Youth Office (DFJW) for two years. Indina studied business administration and education and was the director of a training center for seven years. She currently works as a child care worker and plays basketball in her free time.

The island of La Réunion belongs to France, but is 11,000 kilometers away from Paris and lies in the Indian Ocean. Indina Nice will introduce the island in German: Geography, history, language, culture, political parties and much more. She will also discuss the relationship of La Réunion and Europe with the different roles and challenges.

Participants in the online meeting will be able to ask questions. Kathi Ross will be the moderator.

The partner of this event is the EUROPE DIRECT Center La Réunion - Mayotte.
