VHS prepares for the start of the semester

Over 2,100 registrations so far // Courses begin in classroom or hybrid format from Monday, January 31 // Still registering now

With more than 2,100 registrations already, the Adult Education Center Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is preparing for a versatile semester in compliance with the current Corona regulations. From the start of the semester on Monday, January 31, 2022, quite a few courses, workshops and lectures will run in presence, some are planned hybrid, i.e. with digital support. The university days will be implemented exclusively online. That's the word from VHS Director Isabel Testroet.

Due to current events, program changes may occur at short notice in individual cases. For example, the major lecture "Ireland - To the End of the World" announced for February 10, 2022 has been cancelled and postponed by one year to February 9, 2023.

In the area of foreign language, the free language consultation will take place on Tuesday, January 25, from 14:30 to 16:30 and on January 27, from 9:30 to 12:00. Appointments can be made by phone at 02871 953-697.

Due to the pandemic, the Bocholt City History Discussion Group will be held online on January 25 at 18:30. The link to the drop-in is available on the City of Bocholt's website at www.bocholt.de/rathaus/bocholt-im-20-jahrhundert/.

Registrations are still being accepted. Some event offerings are currently already fully booked. But: Also to these courses registrations are further possible, since the VHS leads waiting lists and tries according to the demand for these prospective customers to furnish auxiliary offers. A regular attendance on the homepage of the VHS www.vhs-bocholt.de is worthwhile itself: Here the VHS program is arranged in different columns and the always updated Corona regulations are to be found likewise.

Further information is available at www.vhs-bocholt.de.
