Probably 50 years too late though:
Guaranteed to be a stylish and funny musical journey back in time to the economic miracle years of our beautiful country. Longing, Sunday promenades, passion and decency, silliness and the seriousness of life, ice-cream parlours, tea dances, trips to Italy, wanderlust ... in short: melodies, impressions and memories of an innocent time.
The lively, swinging Schlager ensemble takes you on a musical journey back to the 50s and swings and jazzes in German for all it's worth. Here you will meet "old acquaintances" (All Paris is dreaming of love, The laughing vagabond, There's something in the air ...) as well as "new old acquaintances", most of whom have always been very close to you in terms of melody and whose titles you didn't know (Dreamboat of love, Barbara, Barbara come with me to Africa, You have such beautiful blue eyes .... perhaps).
Completely politically incorrect but dressed in proper style (!) naive, full of longing, spiced up with a pinch of self-irony, heartbreakingly kitschy, quirky gallant, foreign-friendly, elegant, frivolous, cosy and always topical.... this is the ensemble's repertoire, which turns the "grey everyday" into a "day as blue as spring".
