New VHS programme with 480 events

VHS programme for the academic semester 2025/2 will be published on 21 August 2025

The new programme booklet of the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre for the second half of 2025 will be published online on 21 August, attached to the Bocholter-Borkener-Volksblatt as a printed booklet and available at the Bocholt VHS office in the LernWerk and at the branches in Rhede and Isselburg.

Aasee Festival in Bocholt from 15-17 August at the bathing bay

A weekend full of music, games, enjoyment and good humour

From 15 to 17 August , the bathing bay at Lake Aa will be transformed into a colourful festival mile with music, hands-on activities, delicious food and cool drinks. In addition to the stage programme by Radio WMW , there will be a large children's play area, food trucks, drinks stands and the Bocholter Standcafé - a festival for the whole family.

Fibre optic expansion: full closure in southern Schwartzstraße from 11 August

City of Bocholt creates retention area and revises pathways

The city of Bocholt has implemented a rainwater retention measure in the area of the Eisenhütte weir. The neighbouring cycle path was relocated and rebuilt as part of the work. Final work on the area will follow in the coming weeks.
