Road construction work begins in the industrial park

From Monday, July 11, 2022, major road construction work will begin in the area of the Bocholt Industrial Park. The aim is to significantly improve traffic flow in the future.

In the first construction phase, Alfred-Flender-Strasse will be fully closed between Schlavenhorst and Mussumer Ringstrasse (L604) and between Mussumer Ringstrasse and Brinkstegge. The detour will be via the Schlavenhorst/Raiffeisenring route and via Am Busskolk/Brinkstegge. A traffic light will be installed at the intersection of Mussumer Ringstraße/Raiffeisenring/Am Busskolk to facilitate turning into Mussumer Ringstraße.

Mussumer Ringstraße and the B67 access roads will remain usable without restriction during this first construction phase. Construction is expected to last until September.

Following the aforementioned construction work, the access roads to the B67 and the Mussumer Ringstraße will be widened and new lanes will be created. Traffic lights will then be installed at each of the access roads.
