Training for voluntary legal guardians, authorised representatives and interested parties

As part of the "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" training programme, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für das Betreuungswesen is offering training sessions for voluntary legal guardians, authorised representatives and interested parties. There will be a training course on 15 March between 18:30 and 21:00.

Mrs Gabriele Theling, an employee of the AWO care association and herself a legal carer, will talk about clinical pictures. On this evening, psychiatric clinical pictures, dementia and the so-called "onset of old age" will be discussed. The causes, symptoms and treatment options will be discussed, as well as the effects on the work situation and the financial consequences for carers. Communication and dealing with people who are ill is another topic on this evening. Participants will of course have the opportunity to ask questions.
