Care law: About living arrangements and palliative care in Bocholt

Free training on Wednesday, 18 October, from 6:30-21 p.m. at AWO Bocholt // Register now

The city of Bocholt invites you to a free training session on Wednesday, 18 October. The event is aimed at voluntary carers, authorised representatives and citizens interested in the topic. It starts at 6:30 p.m. in the rooms of the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) at Kreuzstraße 16. Registrations are accepted by calling 02871 2394563. This time the topic will be "Living" and palliative care services in Bocholt.

Gabriele Theling, an employee of the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) and herself a legal guardian, will speak on the topic of "Living Arrangements". What does "living" actually mean? What housing options are there in Bocholt? Who can give advice? These and other questions will be discussed. Theling will particularly address housing options for people with dementia against the background of demographic change.

Another main topic will be support at the end of life. Palliative care options and local care services in Bocholt will be presented.

Organiser

The event is part of the training series "Well trained - Well represented", a cooperation of the local working group for the care system. In addition to the care authority of the city of Bocholt, the care associations AWO Bocholt and SkF Bocholt belong to the working group.
