45 new trees planted at the LernWerk in Bocholt
A clear change
It is not only the LernWerk on Industriestrasse itself that will change visually in the coming year: A lot is also happening in front of and behind the building. 45 new trees have now been planted there, including 20 maple trees and 15 birch trees.
Over 2000 square metres for lawns and perennials
Thus, where warehouses and industrial halls used to stand, a green area is being created for all the people of Bocholt. In addition to the new trees, an almost 2000 square metre lawn and about 20 square metres of planting area with perennials and grasses will also be created.
The new trees were selected so that they can tolerate heat and the city climate well, and the planting pits for the trees have already been prepared in recent weeks.
When the hotel is finally completed on the site, more trees and about 200 square metres of planting area with perennials and grasses will follow.
