Traditional Mother's Day Concert of the Music School

On Sunday, 14 May, the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School will hold its traditional Mother's Day concert with all the music school's wind orchestras. It starts at 11 a.m. in the Drosselsaal, LWL-Museum Textilwerk, Industriestraße 5 in Bocholt. Free tickets can be booked via the link https://eveeno.com/konzertzummuttertag. The number of seats is limited.

"This year we are again brightening up Mother's Day with our traditional brass band concert," says music school director Claudia Borgers happily. The youngest wind orchestra of the music school, the Mini-Winds, opens the concert under the direction of conductor Gido van Schijndel. The Bläserkreis, the music school wind orchestra of the middle age group, under the direction of Ruben van Schijndel, also participates in this year's concert.

Finally, the musical finale is provided by the 45 musicians of the Youth Wind Orchestra under the direction of conductor Guido Schrader.

The Mother's Day concert was first held in 1976, 47 years ago. Since then, all mothers and grandmothers are thanked in a musical way. The parents' and supporters' association of the music school traditionally joins in with a small surprise greeting for all mothers.
