See-Hear-Try at the Music School Bocholt-Isselburg

On Saturday, January 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Isselburg and on Saturday, January 21, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Bocholt, the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School is offering individual taster sessions during which, under the motto "See - Hear - Try", children, young people and adults can get to know the wide range of courses offered by the music school. An instrument exhibition can be visited on both days.

The "See-Hear-Try" event has been held as an open day for many years and offers anyone interested in music the opportunity to get to know a wide range of musical instruments.

This year, interested parties can book a time slot in advance online at https://eveeno.com/sehenhoerenausprobieren, during which they can see, hear and try out the respective instrument with a maximum of two other "tasters". The instruments will be presented in Isselburg on January 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the rooms of the Isselburg Hauptschule (Stromberg 2, entrance via the schoolyard). On the following Saturday, January 21, the presentation will take place in Bocholt from 2 to 6 p.m. in the music school building (Salierstraße 6) and in the neighboring Josefschule (Hohenzollernstraße 27).

Visitors can get to know brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba and horn), woodwind instruments (clarinet, oboe, recorder, flute, saxophone, bassoon), keyboard instruments (piano, accordion and keyboard), guitar (acoustic and electric), string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass) and also the drums. The teachers will be available on site to answer questions.

For those who are still undecided, all instruments that can be learned in the music school will be exhibited and explained. Those who spontaneously want to get to know an instrument better can also get a trial appointment on site.

Registrations for the new school year starting April 1, 2023 are possible as of now and also during the taster appointments.
