Music school: Woodwind matinée at the Verbundschule Isselburg

On Sunday, May 22, the Bocholt-Isselburg Music School will host a matinee concert featuring students from the woodwind department of Verbundschule Isselburg, Stromberg in Isselburg. Start time is 11 am. Admission is free.

Next Sunday the department "woodwind instruments" of the music school Bocholt-Isselburg presents itself in a matinée. At 11 a.m. the concert in the Verbundschule Isselburg will be opened by a nine-piece saxophone ensemble under the direction of Uwe Renting.

Imke Marunski and Rike Schmittkamp from Kerstin Raulfs-Bollhöfer's bassoon class will play works by French composers, and Matilda Varone, a student of Theres Kommescher, will perform a baroque work on her soprano recorder. An oboe trio conducted by Sabine Kroeze and a clarinet trio will follow. Film music from "Lord of the Rings", performed by a mixed ensemble under the direction of Britta Nolte-Kaiser, rounds off the entertaining and varied program.

Piano accompaniment will be provided by piano teacher Karl-Heinz Höper. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Isselburg branch, the matinee concert will take place in Isselburg this year. Admission is free.
