Culinary trip to Denmark on the European Day of Languages

EUROPE DIRECT Bocholt and other cooperation partners are inviting you to a culinary evening on Friday, 26 September 2025 with the theme "Denmark". Under the guidance of cookery expert Jürgen Taubach, participants will prepare Danish dishes together and then enjoy them together. D

To mark the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of this year, the motto "Discover Denmark with tasty dishes" is being taken up. Denmark has more to offer than the famous Smørrebrød . The evening offers an opportunity to familiarise yourself with Danish cuisine, gain new culinary experiences and learn more about the EU. Due to popular demand, the European Cookery Evening takes place twice a year. The last cooking event focussed on Polish cuisine due to the Polish EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2025.

Those interested can register here. The participation fee is 5 euros and includes all food and drinks for the evening. Prior registration is required as places are limited. Interested parties will receive a confirmation and the account details for transferring the fee after registering.
