VHS program for 2023 soon available

On Thursday, January 12, 2023, the new program booklet of the Adult Education Center Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg for the first academic semester 2023 will be published. It is also available at the VHS office in Bocholt (Weiterbildungszentrum, Stenerner Weg 14a, 46397 Bocholt), at the branch offices in Rhede (Stadtverwaltung, Rathausplatz 9, 46414 Rhede) and Isselburg (Stadtverwaltung, Hüttenstr. 33-35, 46419 Isselburg) as well as at numerous other public places (e.g. Stadtbibliothek Bocholt).

With almost 480 events in Bocholt, Rhede, Isselburg, online and at external teaching locations, the VHS offers a diverse and wide-ranging continuing education program for a wide variety of interests and needs in the first half of 2023. Appointments for consultations on integration and language courses and also general information are available on the homepage as well as at the VHS office in Bocholt at 02871/953-697, at the branches in Rhede at 02872/930-269 and Isselburg at 02874/911-31.

Online registrations will be available beginning Monday, January 16, 2023 at www.vhs-bocholt.de. Personal registrations will also be accepted at the VHS Bocholt office and the branches in Rhede and Isselburg from this date.

The VHS continues to pursue a customer-friendly protection and hygiene concept that can be adapted to the current situation at short notice; any necessary changes to the measures and the program will be announced on the homepage.

You can look forward to a wide variety of offers:

In cooperation with the integration office of the city of Bocholt, interdisciplinary lectures will be offered; this year's university days will take place in the media center. "Fear of the future in children and adolescents" and "Psychooncology" are the topics of the two lectures, which present scientific findings in a practical way, followed by an exchange of ideas.

In the area of society, the district-wide exhibition "Nicht böse gemeint...?" on the topic of everyday racism and the lecture "Auf den Spuren Superman" (On the trail of Superman) with the comic drawing courses based on it deserve special mention.

In the area of regional studies, "Ireland - To the End of the World" is once again a real top-class event on the program.

In the area of parent education , both the training course for specialists in "open all-day schooling" and the extended "qualification as a child day care worker" will be relaunched in 2023. Information evenings will be held this semester.

The Nature & Environment section offers a wide range of exciting nature experiences.

In the Culture & Creativity area, there is a whole range of new offerings that are worth a look in the program booklet - including the courses "Calligraphy for Beginners" and a three-day educational vacation "Photography and Filming with the Smartphone".

The health section offers new weekend events such as "Yoga Workshop for the Back" and "Yoga Time Out for Pregnant Women" led by Inga Messing. Due to the positive response of the previous year, the water gymnastics offer this time also includes courses especially during the summer vacations.

In the area of profession - EDP, an update is currently offered for all in the area of coaching: "Systemic coaching in individual settings" and those who are looking for an alternative to Adobe products will find many advanced training courses on the inexpensive Affinty suite.

In the area of foreign languages, courses in English, French, Italian, Dutch and Spanish are on offer, as well as Croatian and Danish.
