VHS lecture: Island hopping in Denmark and Sweden

"Island hopping in Denmark and Sweden" is the title of a lecture organised by the VHS on Tuesday, 14 February, 7.30 p.m., at the Media Centre / Alter Bahnhof Bocholt, Hindenburgstr. 5. Globetrotter Annette Wozny-Koepp has explored Denmark and southern Sweden by island hopping and will present the most beautiful impressions of her multifaceted experiences on this evening. The picture tour first leads to southern Sweden and across the Danish island of Funen. The charm of the picturesque towns with their well-kept, colourful half-timbered houses and house walls decorated with lush hollyhocks evokes a holiday feeling. The exploration of the island of Funen by bicycle was followed by a kayak tour lasting several days in the unique island world of the "Danish South Sea". The tour continues via Zealand with a visit to the lively city of Copenhagen.
Other cities worth experiencing, such as Ronneby, Kalmar and Eksjö, are also presented. On the south-east coast of Sweden, the tour takes in the varied islands of Öland and Gotland.
