Thursday, March 24, 2022, 7 p.m. at the Media Center Bocholt

The VHS Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is offering a lecture on the current topic of "Electric cars - already more economical than classic drive systems?" on Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Bocholt. Speaker Michael Birkhan treats all topics around the electric mobility in this evening. Start is at 19 o'clock in the media center. The participation costs 6 euro. Advance registrations are possible at www.vhs-bocholt.de.

Content

Birkhan informs about the eco-balance of electric cars in the whole life cycle, where the participants can also bring in their personal situation. The current situation (range/charging infrastructure) in Germany will be presented via clarification of the electricity demand with a high proportion of electric cars on the roads. The lecturer will give an overview of the current and in 2022 to 2023 coming electric cars on the market and their different charging options.

And of course, the important question of whether and under what circumstances an electric car can already be used economically will be clarified. It is also important to know what current subsidy options are available in addition to the e-car premium. Alternative mobility solutions such as fuel cell vehicles or synthetic liquid fuels can also be included in the consideration.
