VHS garden tour in Indian summer
Friday, 1 September // We are going to the Lower Lamde // Ermelo, Nijmwegen, Nijbroek and Ede // Registration still possible
Those who have made up their minds at short notice can still register for a VHS day trip under the motto "Gartenstreifzug im Altweibersommer - Best-of-Tour in die Niederlande", which will be offered on Friday, 1 September under the leadership of Dr Susanne Paus. The fee includes bus travel, entrance fees, coffee and cake and is €49.50. Registrations can be made at the VHS Bocholt or the branches as well as at www.vhs-bocholt.de.
The trip unites three exceptionally beautiful late summer gardens: the Poelhuis garden near Ermelo captivates with its extensive perennial beds in the style of the English Mixed Border, a dahlia and sage collection as well as magnificent potted arrangements. Villa Sprezzatura near Nijmegen and the country house garden Roode Hoeve in Nijbroek also offer lush perennials and summer flowers. In addition, there will be a stopover at the perennial nursery Hessenhof near Ede. Welcome to the end of the gardening season!
The fee is € 49.50 including bus journey, entrance fees, coffee and cake. Further information and registration at the VHS office in Bocholt, Stenerner Weg 14a, the branches in Rhede and Isselburg or on the internet at www.vhs-bocholt.de.
