On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the film "Wanda, my miracle" will be shown in the Kinodrom Bocholt as part of the series "The special film". The start is at 8 pm, admission costs 6 euros.
Next Tuesday's special film will be about an unusual story: The Wegmeister-Gloor family lives on a large estate by a lake. After the head of the family Josef has suffered a stroke, he is dependent on help around the clock. Especially for this purpose, there is the Polish caregiver Wanda, who also brings a breath of fresh air into the estate and the family and supports Josef's wife Elsa in the household.
The son Gregor also lives in the house. The daughter Sophie has made herself scarce because of her career and only drops by on special occasions. Wanda depends on the family's money to support her parents and her two sons in Poland. Over time, the Wegmeister-Gloors become like a surrogate family for Wanda. "The Special Film"
The film series "KINO Bocholt - the special film" has been taking place since 1978. On the initiative of the Department of Culture and Education of the City of Bocholt, selected films are shown every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in cooperation with the Kinodrom Bocholt. The aim is to present exceptional films - which are not otherwise shown in the cinemas of Bocholt - to an interested audience of any age.
