"Rumpelstiltskin" comes to Bocholt
On Sunday, 12 November, children aged 4 and over can look forward to the puppet show "Rumpelstiltskin". The puppet show will take place twice, at 2pm and 4pm, in the Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Haus (Dinxperloer Straße 173). The performance will be put on by the Cologne Puppet Theatre.

Tickets cost 6 euros. Children with a family pass pay 3 euros. Tickets are available from the theatre office (Meckenemstraße 10).

Kasper is employed as a journeyman at an old mill. There he has to hoist the sacks of ground flour onto carts. The old miller keeps pushing him to work faster, and in a few moments the king will come to collect the fine flour. The miller is impressed by the rich and educated king, but what else does an old miller have to offer but his beautiful daughter Helene. The miller's daughter would be a good match for the king because, the old miller says, she can spin straw into gold.
And so the story takes its course. The beautiful Helene has to prove her skill. As she wanders around in doubt, she meets a little man who has mastered this art...
