Puppet show "Flocke and the Christmas magic" inspires in the historical city hall

The Fairy Tale Stage performed the play Flocke and the Christmas Magic twice at the Historic Town Hall on Tuesday, December 13. Both the kindergarten groups and the children with their accompanying persons were enthusiastic - and were unceremoniously incorporated into the puppet show.

The Christmas play is about the penguin Flocke and a very special Christmas wish. It was performed by the Department of Culture and Education in cooperation with the Stadttheater Bocholt e.V..

And that's what it's about: With the wish mailbox it is possible to travel to different places. Penguin Flocke finds this out and so he sets off to the magician Pfiffikus to find the Christmas magic. At the same time, he wants to be able to grant his son Piep's wish for an ice floe star. While Penguin Flocke helps Pfiffikus, he meets many colorful fairy tale characters and experiences some adventures.

Children join in

But Flocke the penguin and his companions need constant support from the children in the auditorium. They call and blow diligently or patter with their hands on their legs so that Rudolph can fly with the sleigh. At the promised story at the end of the puppet show, the children become actors themselves. They are looking for a king, a princess, a fairy and a wizard. All the children are delighted and, of course, the accompanying adults also enjoy the invigorating play.

About the puppet show days

The puppet show was performed by the Department of Culture and Education of the City of Bocholt in cooperation with the Stadttheater Bocholt e.V. Puppet shows are also planned for the coming year.
