Narcissistic personality disorder in focus: film with discussion

On Wednesday, 25 September, the city of Bocholt, in cooperation with the Borken district, invites you to a film screening. The film sheds light on the lives of people with narcissistic personality disorder and their relatives. The film will be followed by a discussion.
The event starts at 7 pm at the Bocholt Media Centre (Hindenburgstraße 5) and is free of charge. Seats are limited, so advance booking is advised at www.vhs-bocholt.de.
A film will be shown that depicts the challenges and burdens that a narcissistic personality disorder brings with it for those affected, their partners and children. The film sequences offer a multi-layered insight into the difficulties of dealing with the disorder and the interpersonal conflicts that often result.
The film screening will be followed by a round table discussion led by Jelena Borgers, coordinator for mental health in the Borken district, and Cornelia Späker-Sawatzki, employee of the social psychiatric service of the Borken district. Both experts will be available to answer questions and exchange ideas.
