JUNGE UNI in Bocholt - The summer semester is about to start!

The JUNGE UNI will once again present its varied programme this year, offering something for all children and young people. The online registration deadline is 02.02.2023. The annual kick-off event will take place on 10.02.2023 at Westfälische Hochschule. Information and programme at www.juboh.de.
The wait is over! On 26 January 2023, the new semester programme will appear on the homepage www.juboh.de. Interested children will then have one week to choose events that fit their own interests. Registration for the courses will also be possible on the aforementioned homepage from 2 February.
"This year we have once again been able to put together a varied programme," reports Jennifer Engels, director of the JUNGE UNI in Bocholt. "We have tried to cover all areas of interest in order to make it possible for a large number of children and young people to participate," Engels continues.
The year will be rung in on 10 February 2023 with an event at Westfälische Hochschule. "This year, we are particularly looking forward to the year's kick-off event, because it can finally take place in presence again after two digital runs. In addition, JUNGE UNI is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year," explains Isabel Testroet, Business Unit Manager JUNGE UNI, delightedly.

The first course of the summer semester starts on 22 February 2023. Here, things get tricky right away when it comes to solving number puzzles with logic and thinking flexibility. Dealing with money is the topic of "Let's talk about money". In addition to these mathematical courses, there will also be a number of interesting offers from the areas of computer science, technology and natural sciences this semester. For example, an event on the free and web-based programme "Canva" will take place in February. In cooperation with the "Makerspace Bocholt", there will again be some technology courses in the coming semester. There will also be something for animal lovers: A first aid course for dogs and an excursion to the alpacas of Hahnerfeld can be found in the upcoming semester programme. In addition, JUNGE UNI on Tour is offering courses for the first time this semester on the premises of and in cooperation with VHS Borken.
