Interactive lecture on Islam
History of the emergence of world religion
On Tuesday, 19 March, from 7 pm, the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre is offering an interactive lecture in the media centre (Alter Bahnhof) that takes a historical look at the origins of Islam.
The focus is on the early history of Christianity. It will be shown how the theology of Christianity developed and triggered the so-called Christological controversy, which then played an important role in the emergence of Islam.
In a subsequent discussion, Rudolf Kamps will be happy to discuss his findings from his studies and other sources with the participants. The lecture is aimed at citizens of all faiths as well as non-religious citizens.
