Guided tour art exhibition LICHTreich

Hanover, Hamburg, Sylt, Lüdinghausen and Bocholt are just a few of the city names where the internationally renowned artist Ludger Hinse is showing his exhibitions in Germany this year. On Thursday, October 27 at 5:30 p.m., the meeting point for the guided tour of the LICHTreich exhibition, which Nora Weßel will conduct for the VHS, will be the market square in front of the Historic Town Hall.

The exhibition of light sculptures and light crosses by the artist Ludger Hinse in the public space of Bocholt shows the artworks in a special interplay with their exhibition sites. The guided tour visits selected locations and invites visitors to marvel together at the effect of light on the surroundings and to pick up moments of Bocholt's history, like that of life in this city. In addition, information about Ludger Hinse and art in public space is provided.

Ludger Hinse, born in 1948, is an internationally known artist and author. He lives and works in Dülmen, Recklinghausen and Münster.

His more than 300 solo exhibitions have been on view internationally, for example at the Haus am Lützowplatz in Berlin, the Kunstmuseum Bochum, the Landesmuseum Emden, the Kunsthalle in Bru'nn,Czech Republic, the Museo Barjola Gijon, Spain, the MAC Santiago de Chile, the Galerie Conde in Paris, the Museum Ter Apel in the Netherlands, the Hedwigskathedrale in Berlin, the Kunsthalle Schweinfurt and many other places.
