"BOHJazz" with trombonist Philipp Schittek

On Thursday, March 3, 2022, the concert series "BOHJazz" will continue in the Skylounge of the LWL textile plant. The series celebrates its 30th event anniversary. This time, the soloist will be German trombonist Philipp Schittek. Curious visitors can look forward to interesting sounds of this unique combination. The concert starts at 8:30 pm. Admission is free.

The concert series "BOHJazz" takes place every two months in the Skylounge. Each time a new line-up plays at the evenings. Jazz guitarist Christian Hassenstein will perform together with Volker Heinze on bass, Silvio Morger on drums and soloist Philipp Schittek on trombone.

About soloist Philipp Schittek

Philipp Schittek began lessons on the trombone and piano at an early age. He regularly won prizes at various competitions. The soloist was a long-time member of the JugendJazzOrchester NRW as well as the Bundesjazzorchester. He is currently in the final stages of his master's degree. Philipp is an active member of the German jazz scene and has performed with many national and international artists. He plays in various formats as a leader and sideman.

The concert

Admission is free and takes place under the daily Corona regulations. 2G proof must be shown upon entry. The event is supported by the Stadtsparkasse Bocholt.
