New STEM programme: The JUBoh research room opens its doors!

Playful discovery, research and experimentation - a free programme for young explorers

From now on, children and young people at the JUNGE UNI in Bocholt (JUBoh) have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of STEM subjects. In the new research room, they can experiment, tinker and research on their own - without having to register and completely free of charge!

JUBoh is expanding its programme to include an exciting, free opportunity for children and young people: the research room! From now on, young explorers can immerse themselves in the world of maths, IT, science and technology (STEM) twice a week in a playful and independent way.

"With the research room, we are creating a place where curiosity is encouraged and creative experimentation is made possible. Our aim is to get even more children and young people interested in the exciting topics of STEM subjects", explains Jennifer Engels, Head of JUBoh.

The open programme includes a collection of STEM books and specially developed experiment boxes that invite children to explore, try out and discover. The programme is aimed at all interested children and young people aged 6 to 18 - without registration and completely free of charge.

An additional benefit: music students from the Bocholt-Isselburg music school can make good use of their waiting times by getting to grips with scientific topics in the research room. "We are delighted to not only expand our portfolio with this offer, but also to create an inspiring environment in which children and young people can learn and try things out through play", emphasises Jennifer Engels.

The research room is now open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 pm . Parents are cordially invited to come along with their children.
