Industrial park
Bocholt Industrial Park - the largest contiguous and fully developed industrial park in North Rhine-Westphalia
The Bocholt Industrial Park is by far the largest industrial settlement in the city and is located in the south-west of the city area in the Mussum district. The area is bordered to the north by a railway line and to the south by the B 67, although initial developments have also taken place to the south-east south of the federal highway. The area, which has been safeguarded in regional planning as a commercial and industrial settlement area, has both commercial and industrial sites. In the eastern part of the area, there is a direct connection to the federal trunk road network via the B 67. The Hamminkeln/Bocholt junction on the A3 motorway is about 10 km away. Some areas in the area have a railway siding.
With the new expansion areas, the Bocholt Industrial Park now has 300 hectares of industrial and commercial land. This is unique in North Rhine-Westphalia and provides space for about 380 companies with about 7,200 employees.
Plots of different sizes are available in the expansion areas, which are being developed in a total of four construction phases.
