Pettersson and Findus and the cock in the basket

Children's opera for young people aged 6 and over, based on the book by Sven Nordqvist, performed by the Landestheater Detmold.

Pettersson and Findus, the quirky main characters of the famous Swedish children's book series, are one heart and one soul and lead a tranquil life on their farm. Until Caruso, the neighbouring farm's vain rooster, disturbs their cosy togetherness by fleeing from the soup pot. Caruso crows tunes incessantly and shamelessly turns the heads of the farm's chickens. Everyone loves Caruso, except Findus. He fears for his position as Pettersson's favourite and concocts a devious plan.
