Training for voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties
Free event on 11 September 2025 between 6:30 pm and 9 pm // Registration required
As part of the "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" training programme, a training course for voluntary legal guardians, authorised representatives and interested parties will take place on 11 September 2025.
Gabriele Theling, an employee of the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) and legal counsellor, will give a talk on social benefits during the training course.
The evening's topics include social insurance schemes such as pension, health and long-term care insurance, social assistance benefits such as basic security, housing benefit, long-term care assistance, residential care allowance and participation benefits. We will discuss how and where these benefits can be applied for, which requirements must be met and which aspects need to be considered. There will also be an opportunity for open dialogue and questions can be asked.
The event is a cooperation event of the working group for the care system (care authority of the city of Bocholt, care associations of the SkF Bocholt, AWO Bocholt) and is organised by the care association of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt.
The free training programme takes place in the barrier-free premises of the care association at Kreuzstraße 16. Binding registration is required by telephone on 02871/2394563.
