of the 32nd amendment of the development plan NW 2 in the area of Kurfürstenstraße with the odd house numbers 157 a to 171 a as well as Hitzestraße with the odd house numbers 53 to 61, 65 to 83 a, as well as 85 a to 95 as a development plan for internal development in the accelerated procedure according to § 13a of the Building Code

On 11.05.2022, the Committee for Planning, Construction and Transport decided, with knowledge of the justification, to initiate the 32nd amendment of the development plan NW 2 in the area of Kurfürstenstraße with the odd house numbers 157 a to 171 a as well as Hitzestraße with the odd house numbers 53 to 61, 65 to 83 a, and 85 a to 95 as a development plan for internal development in the accelerated procedure pursuant to § 13a of the Building Code with the following urban development objectives:
- Adjustment and increase of the extent of building use
- Extension of the areas that can be built over
- Control of dormers and roof structures
- Promotion of internal development.

The early participation steps have now been completed. The draft amendment to the development plan is now to be put on public display. At the same time, the authorities and other public agencies are to be involved in the procedure.

The draft of the development plan with the explanatory memorandum and the environmental statements already submitted will be available for public inspection from 20.01.2023 to 22.02.2023 inclusive. The publication will take place during the display hours at the City of Bocholt in the Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulations, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 52-58, 46395 Bocholt.

Comments may be made on this plan during the display period.

Comments not submitted in due time may be disregarded in the decision-making process on the development plan.

The amendment of the development plan does not prepare the admissibility of a project that is subject to an obligation to carry out an environmental impact assessment. There are also no indications of any impairment of the protected interests specified in Article 1 (6) no. 7 b BauGB. Nor are there any indications that the planning must comply with obligations to avoid or limit the effects of serious accidents pursuant to Section 50, Sentence 1 of the Federal Immission Control Act. No major accident facilities are known to exist in the planning area or the immediate vicinity. An environmental impact assessment was not carried out.
