After undermining: Lippestraße temporarily closed

After heavy rainfall on Bocholter Lippestraße led to a minor collapse of the carriageway, the road will now be closed to traffic from Wednesday, 7 February as a precautionary measure.

The reason: heavy rainfall has been forecast for Thursday and further undermining of the road cannot be ruled out. The road will be temporarily closed to prevent danger to car and city bus traffic.

The Rheinstraße bus stop can therefore not be served by the city bus during this time. Passengers are requested to use the Mühlenweg or Fidelekesweg bus stops.
