Sports: Closure of all grass pitches in Bocholt extended

Due to current and reported weather conditions and already problematic soil conditions, all municipal turf fields cannot be used in 2022.

This decision was reached by the ESB's municipal sports field inspection team after intensive deliberations on Monday morning. "Due to the current ground conditions, the grass sports fields throughout the city are currently and foreseeably not playable," said the ESB. The closure, which has already been in place since Wednesday, 14.12.2022, will therefore be extended up to and including Sunday, 01.01.2023.

The artificial turf and clay pitches are not affected by the closure.
