Sports: All grass pitches in Bocholt closed

Due to the ongoing rainfall, all turf fields in the city area are currently unplayable and therefore closed today, Monday, January 31, 2022.

This decision was reached by the ESB municipal sports ground control after checking the conditions of the pitches on Monday morning. "The current weather conditions unfortunately do not allow any other decision after inspection of the grass pitches," said the ESB. Whether a closure will be necessary beyond today, Monday, will not be decided until the pitch conditions have been checked on Tuesday morning.

The artificial turf and clay pitches are not affected by the closure.
