Sport: All grass pitches in Bocholt closed

Due to the current and reported rainfall, all grass pitches in the city area are unplayable and therefore closed today, Monday 07 August 2023.

This was the decision of the municipal sports ground control of the ESB after checking the condition of the pitches on Monday morning. "Unfortunately, the current weather conditions do not allow for any other decision after inspecting the grass pitches," said the ESB. Whether a closure will be necessary beyond today, Monday, will only be decided after checking the pitch conditions on Tuesday morning.

The artificial turf and clay pitches are not affected by the closure.
