Mini playing field released for use again

The popular mini-pitch "In der Hardt" (at Euregio-Gymnasium) can now be used again. The facility had to be closed in July due to the damaged artificial turf surface. In addition to the new surface, the facility now also has vandal-proof metal goals.

In addition to the new metal goals and the renewed artificial turf surface, the pitch was backfilled with quartz sand - for environmental reasons, no rubber granules were used.

"The pitch has been open since Friday and can be used again with immediate effect", says Thomas Boekhorst from the city's schools and sports department. The pitch is extremely popular with children and young people in particular, says Boekhorst.
