Aasee bathing bay open from Saturday
Swimming hours weekdays 1-6 p.m., weekends, vacations and public vacations 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The bay at the Bocholter Aasee is officially open for bathing from next Saturday, May 21. This is announced by the city administration of Bocholt.
On weekdays, swimming in the bay is allowed from 1-6 pm. On weekends, holidays and summer vacations, swimming hours are from 10-18. Swimming is allowed only during these supervised hours and up to the buoy chain. The flag on the supervision house must be on "green" during these times.
"As with any public bathing area, the water quality is continuously monitored during the bathing season to ensure safe bathing," explains Thomas Boekhorst of the city of Bocholt. During the bathing season, toilets are available on site in a separate sanitary container. The bathing season lasts until mid-September.
