ESB removes fir tree in front of mourning hall on 15 January // Campaign met with a great response

During the Christmas period, relatives of deceased people were able to hang Christmas tree baubles with small messages on a special Christmas tree in front of the cemetery chapel in Bocholt. The campaign has ended and the tree will be removed on Monday, 15 January. Relatives have until then to remove their Christmas tree baubles if they wish to keep them as a memento.

Balls that have not been collected by then can unfortunately no longer be returned, according to the city of Bocholt.

During the campaign, the Christmas tree was decorated with around 600 Christmas baubles in memory of the deceased. The campaign was very well received. The city of Bocholt is currently preparing to hand over the proceeds.
