Thunderstorm: Busy afternoon for the Bocholt fire brigade

On the afternoon of 09.07.2023, the Bocholt fire brigade dealt with a total of 60 incidents spread over the entire city area. In addition to numerous fallen trees, there were two small fires that were quickly extinguished by the fire brigade as well as several flooded cellars.

The operations were coordinated by a command staff set up at the fire and rescue station and handled by a total of 70 emergency personnel with nine vehicles.
