FW Bocholt: Tyre fire on a lorry on the B67
Bocholt fire brigade (ots) -
Early on Friday morning, the Bocholt fire brigade deployed three vehicles and 10 FM/SB personnel to a vehicle fire on the B67. The lorry tyre of the vehicle was quickly extinguished. As the lorry driver was able to park his vehicle unharmed in the exit lane to Dingdener Strasse, major damage was avoided. The driver's attempts to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher were not quite enough, so we had to help with some water. Traffic was briefly restricted for the duration of the operation. However, the scene could be handed over to the police after about 20 minutes.
