FW Bocholt: Trapped cyclist freed under car by fire brigade
FW Bocholt (ots) -
On the street Degelingsesch (corner Büngerner Str.) a cyclist was trapped under a passenger car. A retired and an active firefighter happened to be on the scene as first responders.
The fire brigade prepared the technical rescue. After stabilisation of the patient by the rescue service, the car could be lifted by means of the pneumatic rescue equipment. Further treatment of the patient took place in the ambulance and later in the hospital in Bocholt. For the operation, the Büngernerstraße was closed for almost an hour. The fire brigade had 13 colleagues with 5 vehicles on the scene.
