FW Bocholt: Traffic accident with train and car
Bocholt (ots) -
The fire and rescue services of the city of Bocholt were alerted to a traffic accident between a regional train and a car at the railway crossing on Schaffeldstraße at around 9:20 am today.
The train had obviously collided with the car on the scene and had come to a standstill approx. 50 metres behind the level crossing in the direction of Wesel. The car was no longer at the scene.
The emergency services questioned all the train passengers. Nobody was injured.
With the help of the fire brigade, all occupants were able to leave the regional train via a rescue platform.
The fire and rescue services were on the scene with a total of twelve firefighters and four vehicles.
