FW Bocholt: Fire in a textile company in Bocholt

The Bocholt fire brigade was alerted to the Mussumer Kirchweg in Bocholt at 07:00 today with the keyword "Fire, flames from the roof". A strong development of smoke and a smell of burning could already be perceived on the approach. When the Bocholt fire brigade arrived, there was no longer any sign of fire. The extinguishing system installed and the quick use of powder extinguishers by the company's employees prevented worse. The fire debris was removed from the ventilation system by dismantling it with 2 squads and the company's personnel and extinguished outside the building.
The Bocholt fire brigade and the rescue service were on the scene with about 10 emergency personnel for about 2.5 hours.
