British Picnic at the LWL Textile Works
In the coronation year of King Charles III, a "Brit Pic" will take place again on Sunday, 18 June! Stadtmarketing Bocholt, the City of Bocholt with Europe Direct Bocholt and the German-British Society Bocholt invite you to a British picnic at the LWL-TextilWerk - Weberei. Registration is not required and admission is free.
On the lawn of the LWL-Textilwerk Bocholt - Weberei, Uhlandstraße 50, on the Kubaai grounds, the picnic blankets will be well-stocked with numerous delicacies for high tea from 5 p.m.: From sandwiches and pies to British tea and short bread, there should be nothing lacking.
Packed lunches for the British picnic
The museum restaurant "Schiffchen" is preparing a "packed lunch" especially for this occasion. The voucher for the packed lunch can be purchased for 10 euros at the Tourist Information Bocholt until 7 June 2023. Of course, you can also bring your own well-filled picnic basket.
"Very British" at the Brit Pic
Colourful hats, beautiful dresses and chic picnic blankets arranged on a green lawn with shady trees conjure up the perfect British flair on the Kubaai grounds. Everyone is invited to come "very British" to this "Brit Pic". In addition to the culinary delights, the picnic guests will be entertained with live music.

The "Brit Pic" is celebrated in style at the textile mill
Under the motto "I. You. Us. Münsterland celebrates picnics!", picnic enthusiasts from Bocholt and the surrounding area are invited to celebrate the Münsterland way of life together at a German-British picnic.
The Münsterland Picnic Days take place annually around 18 June - International Picnic Day - throughout the Münsterland - in the city and in the countryside. With over 40 events, the regional players offer an impressive programme for relaxing time out on the blanket on all four days. The initiator is Münsterland e.V.
