Sustainability Award 2024: Bocholt is looking for sustainable projects
Bocholt - The city of Bocholt is setting an example for sustainability and is calling for applications for the inaugural Sustainability Award. Interested parties have until 31 December 2023 to submit their projects.
The prize is aimed at individuals, groups or companies who have demonstrated their commitment to ecological, economic and social sustainability in Bocholt with their initiatives in 2023. Projects that take into account at least two of the three pillars of sustainability - environmental protection, economic efficiency and social responsibility - are particularly in demand.
With this award, the city of Bocholt would particularly like to honour projects that make a contribution to overcoming structural and climate change and thus set an example for sustainable action and economic activity in society.
All projects submitted by the end of the month will be assessed by an expert jury of representatives from politics, science and business. There are no specific formal requirements for the application, but it should include a contact person and a clear assignment to the sustainability pillars. The best three projects will be honoured next year.
