Submit funding applications to the city of Bocholt now digitally

As of October 1, applications for subsidies in the Mobility and Environment department can also be submitted digitally. This is intended to facilitate access and reduce bureaucratic hurdles, according to the city of Bocholt.

The city of Bocholt offers a variety of green subsidy programs for tradespeople, citizens and residents to make their properties and lifestyles more ecological. For example, for the nature-oriented design of private gardens, material costs of seeds, perennials, shrubs and trees, are subsidized with 50 percent.

For the deconstruction of gravel gardens, the costs of removal and disposal of gravel, gravel or concrete from gravel gardens and the delivery and placement of topsoil, which are recognized as eligible, are subsidized. Funds can also be applied for the greening of roofs.

From now on, the city of Bocholt also supports citizens with handicap or assistance needs in the purchase of a suitable special bicycle. Prerequisite: It must be a tricycle or a special bike for the transport of another person and a severely disabled pass must be presented. The amount of assistance is a one-time payment of 30 percent of the purchase amount, up to a maximum of 2,500 euros.

Service available from October

As part of the digitization of the administration, it will now be possible to submit applications for subsidies straightforwardly online from October. This is intended to reduce bureaucracy and drive motivation to live more sustainably. Required documents such as cost estimates can be uploaded directly as a file.
