Special offer "Energy advice on site"

The municipal heating plan for the path to the heating transition has been adopted. In order to reduce heating and final energy requirements and cut energy costs in the long term, the city of Bocholt is offering a special campaign in cooperation with the NRW consumer advice centre and the Borken district: individual energy advice directly at home.

From 29 September to 12 December, property owners in Bocholt can receive comprehensive advice at a reduced rate of 40 euros. The first 20 households will also benefit: they will be reimbursed by the city of Bocholt on presentation of the receipt.

During a 90-minute tour, an energy consultant will inspect the building envelope and building services on site. The owners then receive a written report with specific recommendations for action, information on funding programmes and answers to questions about renewable energies, energy certificates or heat insulation measures. Whether heating modernisation, window replacement or insulation - the consultation shows individually which measures are sensible, effective and economical.

With this special campaign, the city of Bocholt wants to relieve the burden on property owners and at the same time advance the city's climate protection goals in order to make a contribution to the heating transition. This is one of the first building blocks for implementing the municipal heating plan - further measures will follow.
