City cycling: Bocholt joins the chain again!

Soon the popular STADTRADELN campaign will start again - and Bocholt is once again part of the action. Bocholt citizens can join the chain from May 1, 2022 and diligently collect kilometers for Bocholt. 270 participants have already registered.

Together for a good climate

The STADTRADELN 2022 has not yet started and already the people of Bocholt are in the starting blocks. Already 44 teams (as of 13.4.22) of the jubilee and bicycle city have registered for this year's STADTRADELN. There is a lot of creativity in the naming of the teams. In addition to "Velocipeden" and "Fietsenspochtler", the "Love Cats for ever" will also be represented during the campaign period from May 1 to 21, 2022. In addition, numerous teams from Bocholt businesses, families, clubs and daycare centers, including the diocese of Münster, to name just a few.

The aim of the campaign is to set an example for an environment worth living in, for community, fun and enjoyment of fresh air and exercise. Cycling in everyday life and in leisure time - STADTRADELN.

Register now - quick and easy

At www.stadt radeln.de/bocholt, setting up your own team is easy and self-explanatory. Joining an existing team is also possible there. "For Bocholt residents who don't want to register their own team, the 'Open Team Bocholt' is happy to help," says Bocholt's city building councilor Daniel Zöhler. He himself has already registered there.

But schools and local city council members are also asked to join forces with citizens to collect as many bicycle kilometers as possible for their community. Then Bocholt might even be on the winner's podium.

E-bike to win

To fuel the motivation of Bocholt's STADTRADLERINN and STADTRADLER, there are "mega prizes" to be won in Bocholt in the anniversary year. "The STADTRADELN campaign is very well supported by the local business community. I am overwhelmed!", reports environmental officer Angela Theurich. And these are the prizes that will be drawn among all Bocholt city cyclists who have cycled a total of more than 50 kilometers, 100 kilometers or 150 kilometers during the campaign period:

1. Prize - A brand new Urban Ebike "Sneak+ EQ" from ROSE Bikes.
