Bocholt Puppet Theatre Days: " Sleeping Beauty - Princess of all things"

On 28 September at 3 pm, the puppet show "Dornröschen - Ausgerechnet Prinzessin" will take place at the Alte Molkerei (Werther Straße 16). Children aged four and over can look forward to a well-known fairy tale from a humorous perspective. The puppet show will be performed by the "Albersmann" theatre from Hamburg.

Queen Luise-Markise and King Hans-Hannibal rejoice at the birth of their long-awaited child and welcome a daughter. However, she has no desire to be a typical princess. To bring peace to the situation, the parents go on holiday in time for her 15th birthday.

But on this day, an ancient curse is fulfilled. The princess falls into a deep sleep that lasts a whole 100 years. Many years later, a prince finally appears to redeem her. But surprise: he is green and croaks!

With creative ideas and lively characters, the stage comes to life and presents the well-known fairy tale from an unusual perspective - with a princess who has a mind of her own.
